Represent PRCKC at one of the cutest dog events of the year!
The 2nd Annual Pawmazing Race brings together dogs, their humans, local businesses, rescues, and animal lovers from across the Kansas City area for a day full of fun around Historic Independence Square. Throughout the day, participants and their pups complete themed challenges while exploring the Square, shopping local vendors, enjoying treats, and meeting adoptable pets.
As a PRCKC volunteer, you'll help staff our community outreach booth by:
- Greeting community members and answering questions about PRCKC
- Sharing information about our programs and services
- Talking with visitors about volunteer opportunities
- Handing out resources and promotional materials
- Helping set up and tear down our booth
- Creating a welcoming, friendly experience for everyone who stops by
This is a wonderful opportunity if you enjoy meeting new people, talking about animals, and representing PRCKC in the community. You'll likely get plenty of chances to meet adorable dogs throughout the day, too! We can't wait to have you on the team!
