Get active in animal welfare! As an outreach volunteer, you will:
- Assist the outreach team with tasks in the clinic: Sorting donations, prepping pet food and treats, cleaning and organizing the outreach/pantry space, and more.
- Assist clients coming in to the clinic needing assistance with pet food or other resources.
- Ride along with outreach staff to do deliveries, transport pets with medical needs to/from the clinic, wellness checks for outdoor pets in local neighborhoods, and more.
Volunteers must:
- Be prompt
- Be able to do some light physical activity
- Be able to work well on a small team
- Approach new people and situations with a nonjudgmental mindset
- Follow PRCKC's core values: Be Helpful, Build Trust, Be Compassionate
- Be ready to meet new people and pets and spread some happiness and relief!
