Join the PRCKC Outreach Team for a short but impactful morning in the Brookside community!
We'll be canvassing the neighborhood to share important information about our services and help connect pet owners with services and resources that keep pets healthy, safe, and in loving homes.
This is a simple, team-based volunteer opportunity—perfect if you enjoy being active, getting outside, and making a direct impact in the community!
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- Meet at PRCKC at 9:00 AM to load supplies
- Travel together to Brookside (just ~10 minutes away!)
- Break into teams of 2 and follow pre-mapped walking routes
- Distribute flyers to homes and community spaces
- Return to the clinic once routes are completed
We'll provide all materials, instructions, and a quick on-site briefing so you feel fully prepared!

Time: 9:00 AM – ~11:00 AM
Start Location: PRCKC Clinic (travel to Brookside together)
WHAT TO BRING / WEAR:
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Weather-appropriate clothing with PRCKC t-shirt
- Water bottle
GOOD TO KNOW:
- No prior experience needed—this is very beginner-friendly!
- You'll be paired with a partner, so no one is working alone
- Great opportunity to get involved with Outreach and see PRCKC's impact in action
